Walking in Their Shoes
Actions speak louder than words and this month we perform both by walking and reflecting on our mothers’ extraordinary lives.
All are welcome. Fast walkers. Slow walkers. Lone walkers. If your mother has passed, still join us and enjoy an opportunity to reflect on the impact she had on your and others’ lives. As your steps get added to your leaderboards and you achieve the 10 milestones, you’ll receive an email with more information about 10 historically influential mothers as well as reflective questions you can discuss with your own mother or children.
Join as an individual (50,000 total steps in May) or a team (100,000 total steps in May) and see if we can collectively achieve 4M steps to commemorate the $4 million raised by the Parkinson’s Foundation Midwest Chapter to fund ongoing Parkinson’s research.
